Organization Profile
一般社団法人(Ippan Shadan Hōjin) MF Indonesia or MFI Association is an association based in Japan with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations between Japan and Indonesia. This organization has a very close relationship with Indonesia, which is reflected in various strategic programs covering culture, economy, education, tourism and social. As a bridge between the two countries, MF Indonesia Association is committed to creating new opportunities for the people of Indonesia and Japan, as well as promoting in-depth cultural and knowledge exchanges. MFI Association actively introduces Japanese culture, tourism, and job and education opportunities to the Indonesian people, as well as introducing Indonesian culture and tourism to Japan through the online media niindo.com and the youtube channel managed by MFI Association. This effort aims to increase the understanding and interest of the Indonesian people towards Japan and vice versa. In addition, MFI Association collaborates with various Japanese companies to open up economic opportunities and career development for the Indonesian people. The organization also facilitates visits by Indonesian governments and companies to Japan, creating fruitful collaborations with Japanese institutions and industries. With a focus on tangible results, MFI Association programs are designed to support communities, businesses, and government sectors in both countries.
Background of Establishment
The MFI Association was founded by Mahmudi Fukumoto, an Indonesian citizen who lives and has successfully run a business, one of which is in the field of labor absorption from Indonesia to Japan. Fukumoto has long been involved in various activities that support Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) and the Indonesian community in Japan. His experience and involvement in organizing social, cultural, and sports events, such as futsal tournaments packaged in the “Futsal Tournament Keihin Cup”, became the basis for the establishment of 一般社団法人 MF Indonesia (MFI Association). This strong relationship with Indonesia is the main foundation for this organization in carrying out its mission. Through this organization, the MFI Association seeks to make a real contribution to strengthening the relationship between Indonesia and Japan, creating a positive space to support the Indonesian diaspora while living and working in Japan and providing benefits to Japan through cultural transfer, economic cooperation, and the contribution of quality workers.
